OUR CLUB ETHOS
We believe in providing outstanding sessions at a price affordable to all and we ensure that our gym is a fun, friendly and welcoming place for everyone - as a family run business we strive to ensure that our members and parents feel safe, welcome and part of the #teamDLJ family!
Our talented coaching team are all British Gymnastics qualified/trained and highly experienced - and our management team monitor every session to ensure the highest standards are maintained at all times.
OUR JOURNEY
DLJ started life as an after school club provider for a few years until our founder Danielle identified Strood Academy (newly built at the time) as our perfect venue!
Two classes a week in a small dance hall soon progressed to a full weekly timetable - and the fantastic support of our local community over the years led to us investing in our equipment setup and enabled us to become a fully equipped venue.
We have now moved to our brand new premises in Victory Pier, Gillingham and operate as a full time club, 6 days a week including preschool sessions!
OUR STAFF
We believe that we have one of the strongest coaching teams in the South East region. Our team of fantastic coaches are highly qualified and experienced, with full DBS checks, safeguarding and first aid training in place. Our coaching team are committed to delivering fun, progressive sessions and treating each child as an individual, not a number - our team work hard to make sure that they can always go the extra mile whenever they can to help a child to progress!
FULLY AFFILIATED BRITISH GYMNASTICS MEMBER CLUB
DLJ are a professional Gymnastics Club fully affiliated and insured through British Gymnastics and the relevant regional bodies of South East and Kent Gymnastics.
As a fully affiliated BG club parents can be reassured that DLJ have a full set of BG approved policies and procedures in place which are strictly adhered to.
